There are several opportunies for you to join us for worship each week. We offer two different Sunday morning worship services, and a time of fellowship and Bible study on Wednesday evenings.
Sunday morning at 9:15am-celebration worship
Join us as we sing along with a full choir, praise team, brass section, and rhythm section. You can expect classic hymns, as well as music covering a wide variety of styles-from contemporary to gospel. You might hear songs by Chris Tomlin, David Crowder, Matt Redman, along with tunes by the Gaithers.
Sunday morning at 10:45am-contemporary worship
The Contemporary service consists of a worship band and is a mixture of modern music from today's leading worship writers as well as older music and even hymns that have been updated stylistically. From the band to the videos to the lighting, our aim is to use every element to worship the One who is worthy of it, our amazing God.
Midweek Meals are from 5:00-6:00PM in Lagniappe Hall, followed by Bible Study at 6:15PM for adults. Activities for all ages, including preschoolers, children, & students begin at 6:15PM.
What to Expect
When you first arrive at Cypress, you can expect to be greeted by a friendly face. From there, we would love for you to head to the Welcome Center and let us know it's your first time visiting. We can answer any questions you might have and even help get you connected with a small group Sunday School class if you're ready. We can also help find the right place for your kids and students too.
WHEN DO I COME?
On Sundays, we have two worship services: a Celebration Service at 9:15am and a Contemporary Service at 10:45am. Sunday school classes are also respectively at 9:15am or 10:45am. You can use our Small Groups Finder to browse Sunday school classes and get an idea of what may be right for you. When you arrive, a Welcome Team member will show you where you can find your class.
WHAT DO I BRING?
If you have a Bible, that's all you'll need to bring with you. The pastor teaches from God's Word each week, so bringing your own Bible will help you follow along. If you don't have a Bible to bring, that's okay. We often project the passages onto our screens.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
While some people do wear their "Sunday best," most people prefer more casual Sunday clothes. Don't worry about what you wear; we're just glad you're here!
WHAT IS THE SERVICE LIKE?
During a service at Cypress, you can expect to worship God through singing songs, celebrating baptism, hearing God's Word preached, praying together, and giving offerings. These are the main elements of our weekly service.
For my Kids
No matter your child's age, we have a place for them!
All preschoolers and children (birth-5th grade) should check in at our check-in kiosks to ensure a safe and secure experience. There are several places you can do this. Penny Lane, located in the Worship Center foyer, is our Preschool area; you can check in all of your children there. Additionally, there are check-in kiosks located throughout the Education Building where your 1st-5th graders will attend Sunday School. You may check-in all of your children there as well!
Each child is given a name tag and each parent is given a matching label to present when they pick up their child. The volunteers at the registration desk will match your child to the appropriate class and show you where to go.

To save time, you may print out this form and bring it with you to whichever check-in station you choose, hopefully making your first time check-in process a bit quicker!
Sunday School Classes
Sunday school is the best way to get connected, meet new people, and form community. It's how our big church maintains a small church feel!
If you prefer our 9:15am Celebration Worship Service, choose a Sunday School Class that meets at 10:45am.
Likewise, if you prefer the 10:45 Contemporary Service, you will look for a Sunday School class that meets at 9:15am.
Keep in mind, if you have kids in our Student Ministry (grades 6th-12th) they will always have Sunday School at 9:15am, then attend Worship at 10:45am. Children grades 1st-5th have Sunday School at 9:15am and Kids Church at 10:45am. Preschoolers have Sunday School at 9:15am and "Extended Sunday School" at 10:45am.
