Courtney Bouillon serves as the Minister to Women & Families. She graduated from Benton Jr/Sr High School and started coming to Cypress' youth group in 1991. She became very active in the youth group and accepted Christ at a See You At The Pole Retreat at the age of 12.
Courtney married her high school sweetheart, Brian, at Cypress Baptist Church on April 8, 2000. Because they both grew up at Cypress, there was no question what church they would call their home. They have two daughters, Lainey and Lexy. Courtney feels her greatest honor is being Brian’s wife and Lainey and Lexy’s mother.
Courtney earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree/Interior Design from Louisiana Tech University. After working for a few years in her profession, she felt God calling her to start serving at church. In 2007 she began working on staff at Cypress in Youth Ministry and continued there until 2010 when she felt God leading her to minister to families. She has been so excited to see God start a new ministry within Cypress Baptist Church. In this ministry, her mission is to bring families closer to God and to each other through Bible studies and activities offered at Cypress. She also has her Counseling Certification from Louisiana Baptist University to help families deal with issues that we all face.
Courtney enjoys being with her husband and children. She also loves to be with her mom and step dad, who also attend Cypress. Courtney enjoys time with her friends and leading a weekly Bible Study for women at Cypress. It gives her a chance to get to know the women at Cypress and to be fed God’s Word.
Her goal is to help people remember God’s priority list for their lives should be their relationship with God first, spouse second, and children third, and all else comes after those three.
