"Day by day continuing with one mind in the temples and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people." -Acts 2:46-47
Like the members of the early church, the Tooke-Woodard Sunday School class, commonly known as Believers in Faith & Food, meet in the temple and break bread from house to house.
We are a co-ed class, welcoming both couples and singles age 50 and above to join our study and fellowship. We are fed spiritually during class and in the men's and women's Bible study groups that meet on Tuesday nights in the members' homes. We are also fed physically by the members who bring food to our Sunday school class, the cooks who feed us at the Bible studies, and at our monthly fellowships. As in the passage, we meet and share and invest in each other's lives with "gladness and sincerity of heart", constantly praising God for His many blessings.
We meet in Room 218 of the Education Building. Come join us!
