VBS is a great week of fun learning for kids who are preK through those who have completed 5th grade. Participants enjoy Bible stories, games, crafts, music, missions, snacks and recreation each day. A special theme is chosen each year that is brought to life through colorful decorations and inviting rooms. VBS is an exciting time to be with friends, hear about the good news of Jesus, and to learn about a God that created you and loves you unconditionally!

One of the highlights of our Children's Ministry is the privilege of presenting our First Graders with their very own Bible as they promote from the Preschool Division into the Children's Ministry at Cypress.

Our desire is for them to learn to love the Bible as a very special book from God. We give them all the same Christian Standard Version of the Bible. It is very helpful with beginning readers that they all use the same Bible so pages and words are the same. First grade teachers begin a process of teaching children how to use their Bible, find reference for the Bible stories, learn memory verses and locate verses and books.

Leadership team open to 5th graders, where those who choose to participate, assist in different areas of Children's Ministry and are taught a mindset of ownership of the church to prepare them to stay involved once they promote into Student Ministry.

Each summer, completed 3rd-5th graders will have a chance to get away for a week of fun, fellowship and Bible Study! Dates and locations will vary.

Cypress Mom's Day Out & Preschool is committed to providing a rich learning experience in a safe, caring environment. We strive to help each child develop mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We seek to provide the highest quality care and education, and to share God's love with young children and their families.

We follow the Christian-based A Beka Program. A Beka is a conservative Christian Education program. The weekday education program is planned for children six weeks old-twelve years old, with goals of helping them in their mental, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual development.
