
PARENT CHECKLIST
- Review camp guidelines with your student.
- Mark student’s name on ALL belongings.
- Prepare prescription and over the counter medications. ALL medications will need to be turned into our Camp Nurse during check-in. The camp nurse will house and administer all medications this year.
- Check student’s luggage for inappropriate/banned items.
- Review the packing list to ensure that frequently forgotten items are packed.
- Send spending money for (2) travel meals, snacks, CSM merch store and souvenirs. There is a camp store on property.
- Be on time for check-in/departure.
- Follow @CypressStudents on Instagram and Facebook to get updates while we are at camp!

Travel Information
CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS:
- Inside the 3:16 Field House, check-in at the tables according to your last name.
- Be prepared to pay your balance in full with EXACT Cash, Credit Card, or Check. We will not have change.
- Your student will receive 2 luggage tags for their bags. You can bring one suitcase and one carry-on bag.
- Bring your carry-on items (anything you want on the bus) inside of the High School Worship Room with you. The suitcase will be placed underneath the bus.
- Make sure you have money in your carry-on for travel meals.

Every student will be placed with at least one person on their list provided during online registration. We will have at least 1 adult leader in every cabin.
MEDICAL:
- Your students’ safety & health is our primary concern when we take any trip in student ministry!
- We will have experienced nurses on site at the camp to distribute all medications as needed. Only emergency devices such as inhalers and epi-pens should remain with students.
- Bring all prescriptions and OTC medications to the nurse’s station at check-in. The medications need to be in their original bottle with labeled instructions for dosage amount.
- It is your responsibility to notify the nurse of any allergies your student has (i.e. food, medication, insects, etc.).
CAMP ACTIVITIES
FREE TIME
- There are many things to do onsite at this camp. Water activities include: banana boating, tubing, rope swings, paddle boards, kayaks, a beach, swimming, water volleyball, water basketball, float mats, and sand volleyball. Land activities include: spike ball, gaga ball, cornhole, ping pong, battle putt, connect 4, cross net, bucket ball, and hammocking.
- No students will be allowed in cabins during free time.
RECREATION
LATE NIGHT THEME NIGHTS
- There are many things to do onsite at this camp. - The student’s Tribe will also be their Rec Team.
- We encourage your students to be competitive and bring the team spirit. Bring clothes and spirit wear for your assigned color team. Part of winning the Spirit Flag is your team spirit!
- We will have four Rec Teams this year.
LATE NIGHT THEME NIGHTS
- Each night we will be having a little late-night fun that will require a theme on a certain night.
- Monday – Hawaiian Night
- Tuesday – Christmas In July
- Wednesday – America Night
- Thursday – Camp Shirt Night

CAMP GUIDELINES
You cannot attend camp if you do not agree to abide by the following
guidelines. Failure to comply will result in you being sent home at your parent’s
expense.
1. Everyone is expected to observe the highest standards of Christian conduct at all times.
2. Obey the rules of all camp facilities.
3. No one will be allowed to leave any of the camp facilities unless permission has been received from Jacob Linder/Aimee Pruitt. No visitors are allowed.
4. There will be designated areas for Recreation and Free Time. Stay in these designated areas.
5. Guys are not allowed in the girls’ rooms; girls are not allowed in the guys’ rooms. Violators will earn an automatic trip home at your expense.
6. All students must be supervised by an adult leader at all times. No student and their group should ever be in the room without an adult present.
7. Participate in everything.
8. In the event that medical attention is needed. Report immediately to the Camp Nurse.
9. No one is to leave his/her room after curfew. Lights out is designed for your safety!
10. You are not allowed to bring or have the following items at camp: drugs, alcohol, tobacco products, pornography, weapons, fireworks, body paint, or any electronic cigarette/vaping devices. Do not bring or watch questionable entertainment on personal devices. We reserve the right to inspect your luggage should we have a reason to do so.
11. You will be representing Christ, Cypress Baptist, and your family. Please let your behavior and speech reflect this. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards pranks, hazing, or any other behavior deemed un-Christlike.
12. We expect you to use discretion in dress. Full coverage swimsuits must be worn. “Midriffs” must be covered. No speedos. No two-piece bathing suits. Students must wear tank tops or t-shirts over bathing suits to and from free time. T-shirts with sleeves are required during all Worship services.
13. No water fights, raids, or rough play in any of the camp facilities. You are financially responsible for any and all damage to the property or the bus! Any property damage must be reported immediately to Jacob Linder
14. No cursing or use of profanity is allowed.

- Pillow and light blanket for bus ride
- 2 towels: bath and beach towels
- Personal toiletries (shampoo, soap, deodorant, feminine products, etc.)
- Hairdryer
- Jeans, t-shirts, modest shorts (we must be able to see your shorts under your t-shirts). Please do not wear the short 2” Lulu shorts or butterfly shorts. You will be asked to change clothes.
- Color themed clothes for rec teams and theme night
- Undergarments, socks, sleep wear
- One-piece swimsuits. No mesh, cutouts, or high/low cuts.
- Athletic shoes for recreation
- Flip flops/sandals for swimming
- Sunscreen/aloe/lotion

DRESS CODE
1. Shorts must be fingertip length (no short shorts). We must be able to seeyour shorts hanging out under your t-shirts. Do not bring the short 2” Lulu shorts or butterfly shorts. Please help us with this when you are checking packed bags. It is uncomfortable for everyone involved when we have to ask a student to change.
2. Shirts must have sleeves during worship services.
3. Bathing suits must be modest (one piece, no cutouts and no mesh).
4. Midriffs must be covered (no cropped tops or see-through clothing).
5. Dress code must be followed at rec time activities as well.
